Becky & Joe :: 9.1.13

Becky and Joe were married in Oxnard, CA at the beautiful Embassy Suits. Becky and Joe currently live in Utah, but have previously lived in California, and loving the California sun and ocean they decided to hold their wedding ocean side. Their ceremony was held right in front of the beautiful Pacific ocean, with sand under their toes, and much of their family present. As their families live all over the United States they were quite touched and surprised to see so many relatives and friends come celebrate their union with them. They have five awesome sons that they wanted apart of their ceremony. The couple is very laid back and easy going. Their ceremony and reception were beyond beautiful and love was defiantly in the air.

Wishing you both the best!

Cara & Niel :: 7.13.13

This is the second wedding part of my "wedding weekend madness". Cara and Niel are an East Coast couple who are very in love and radiate love. Their wedding was full of beautiful details, laughter, tears of happiness, dancing, and so much more. I am so fortunate to have been able to be their photographer for the day, as they made it so easy to not only fall in love with them, but also with their wedding.

I was able to photograph this wedding with my partner in crime, my good friend

Nicole .

This wedding was quite unique as it took place at the Ocean Institute in Dana Point, CA. Between the amazing views of the ocean and the mountains, the reception hall was to die for- a photographers paradise. Cara and Niel I want to thank you again for letting me photograph your beautiful day and for putting together such a beautiful wedding that made photographing it not seem like a job, but like I was on vacation in paradise. XOXO- S

Amy & Mike :: 7.12.13

Wedding weekend madness, that is what the weekend of July 12th was for me. I was hired to shoot two weddings back to back, and all I could think was how fun and exciting shooting a wedding would be, especially with my photographer partner in crime, my good friend

Nicole

. The first wedding from this weekend of madness was Amy and Mike's.

Mr.Ochs, Mike, was my former high school history teacher. Being out of high school for four years now, I never thought that a teacher would remember who I was, let alone hire me for my photography services, so when I got an email from Mike I was beyond excited. Talking to Mike I found out that he was getting married a day before I was hired to shoot my first wedding (which you will see on the blog soon) and I quickly realized how lucky I would be to have a wedding weekend! Not having a portfolio to show, Mike and Amy took a chance on hiring me, and I would personally like to thank them time and time again for taking a chance and letting a girl pursue her photography dreams!

Mike and Amy are very unique, fun-loving, kind people, who are very well loved by their families and friends. Mike and Amy wanted to spend their wedding day fully wrapped up with their friend and families, and that is just what they did! Their wedding took place at Calamigos Ranch, in Malibu, CA. There was much laughter, dancing, drinking, and smiling at the Ochs' wedding. The day and night was nothing short of amazing. I am so thankful to be apart of such a beautiful occasion that once again showed me that true love is real. I again have to say THANK YOU Mike and Amy for allowing me, to pursue my dreams and to encourage me to do what I love. Mike I have to say although it has been years since you have taught me anything (in a classroom), I do have to say that I once again learned so much from you and this time about you, and I would like to wish you and Amy all the happiness in the world. Now I will let the photos speak for themselves, enjoy! -S
